Introduction

Ingredients

    French Cut Green Beans, frozen, 3 cup (remove)
    Garlic, 5 cloves (remove)
    Canned Tomatoes, 1 can (remove)
    Lentils, .25 cup (remove)
    White Rice, long grain, 2 cup (remove)
    *Vegetable boullion - 1 cube, 4 serving (remove)
    *Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) (remove)

Directions

Makes 6 servings, about 1.5 cups each.

Mix bouillon cubes with 4 cups of hot water till they dissolve. Put rice, lentils and bouillon/water mixture in rice cooker and start.

Meanwhile, heat olive oil in pan. Add garlic, saute for 2 minutes. Add onions, saute for 5 minutes until translucent. Add 14-oz can of diced tomatoes with juices and bring to boil. Add green beans. Cook until green beans are warmed. Remove from burner.

When rice is finished cooking, add onion/tomato/green bean mixture to rice in heat safe bowl and mix well. Enjoy!


Serving Size: Makes 2 servings, about 1.5 cups each.
