Ingredients

    1 cup uncooked brown rice
    1 can 19 0z mixed beans ( drained and rinsed)
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1 tbs lemon juice
    pinch of sea salt
    2 buds of garlic ( shredded)
    1 Jalapeno pepper finely chopped
    2 tbs olive oil
    2 tbs Indian Masala spice
    1 tsp dry mustard

Directions

cook rice ( 2 cups of water to 1 cup of rice app 15 mins cooking time)
heat oil in 3 qrt pot medium /low heat
add onions, garlic,dry mustard , jalapeno lemon juice and salt
cook until onions are translucent
add drained and rinsed beans
add masla
heat beans for 5 mins
add cooked brown rice

serve with half a slice of naan bread
