    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    3 tsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp salt


beat butter, add sugar, and beat. add eggs and beat. add soda, baking powder, and vanilla to buttermilk. stir into other mixture. add flour one cup at a time unitl stiff enough to roll. roll aout about 1/4 inch thick. cut with round cookie cutter. bake 350 degrees for 7-9 min. cool. frost and decorate with candy sprinkles.
