Ingredients

    4 Chicken Breasts (approx 2.5 lbs uncooked)
    6 tsp Reduced Sodium Taco Seasonings
    1 15.5 oz jar Tostitos Salsa, Medium (or mild or spicy, depending on preference)
    Chop 1/2 medium onion and add on top of salsa.
    2 15 oz can Black Beans, drained and rinsed


Tips

I don't think the sodium content is quite right in the Nutrition Facts. By draining and rinsing the beans that takes a lot of the salt out, and I actually salt to taste.


Directions

Layer chicken breasts on the bottom of a slow cooker, sprinkling a small amount of Taco Seasonings on each breast. Cover with salsa. Let cook on Low for 6-7 hours.
In the last hour, drain and rinse the Black Beans, and add to slow cooker. Cook for approximately 1 more hour.
Remove chicken and cut into pieces.

Serving Size: Makes 8 WLS size servings (cut each breast in half)
