Ingredients

    6 cups cubed turnip
    2 tbsp butter
    2 eggs
    2 tsbp flour
    2 tbsp brown sugar
    1 tbsp baking powder
    1/2 cup bread crumbs

Directions

cube 6 cups turnip and boil til done. Drain and mash by hand. Whip the two eggs and stir into the turnip. In a separate bowl mix flour baking powder and brown sugar. Mix into turnip and put into casserole dish and top with half cup bread crumbs that was mixed with 1 tbsp melted butter. Bake 20 - 25 minutes or until nicely browned.
