Ingredients

    Everything is an approximation which will depend on the size of the dish you are cooking in.

    4 Bananas, ripe.
    One Box of Reduced Fat Nilla Wafers.
    One can of pineapple in juice.
    1 cup of milk.
    1/4 cup of white sugar.
    3 fresh eggs.
    Pinch of cream of tartar.

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 F.

Start with a layer of the nilla wafers (flat side up), top with a layer of sliced bananas, top with drained pineapple, and one more layer of vanilla wafers on top.

Separate the eggs.

Combine the yolks, milk and sugar, over low heat, stirring frequently until the mixture is hot.

Whip the whites with the cream of tartar.

Pour the mixture over the layered nilla wafers, banana and pineapple, and then top it with the egg white mixture.

Bake in oven until the top is golden brown.
