Ingredients

    1 large onion - sliced or chopped
    1 pound of sausage chopped - I used beef or turkey
    1 - 15oz can kidney beans
    5 medium potatos chopped
    3 cups sliced cabage
    16oz low sodium ketchup
    1/2 cup white viniger
    2 tablespoons garlic minced
    16 cup beef broth, can be bouillon
    2 tbsp olive oil

Tips

I add spices and herbs as I want, dill, oregano, pepper, or anything else you might like to try each to taste.


Directions

- cook onion, garlic, and sausage in oil till onions are done, I like them slightly crispy, drain on papertowels
- in large soup pot add onion, sausage, garlic, kidney beans, potatos, cabage, katchup and broth, simmer for 1 1/2 hour
- add viniger and simmer for another 15 -30 mins
