Introduction

Easy Chicken and Dumplings with quick tortillas as dumplings. My husband can't tell the difference. This is a family favorite in my house and super easy to do on a work night! Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
    5-6 cups water
    4 celeray stalks, cut into 1/4ths
    4 carrots, cut into pieces
    Bay leaves
    Seasoning Salt
    Garlic Powder
    Salt and Pepper to taste
    5 Tortillas cut into strips

Tips

You can also use rotessire chicken or cook the chicken on the weekend to make it a quicker week night option!


Directions

Boil the chicken until done (about an hour) in the a pot with the water, celary, carrots, and seasonings. When chicken is done take out and shred. While shreding put tortilla strips in and cook for 10 min. Add Chicken back to pot and simmer for 5 min. Enjoy! If water starts to evaporate add more.
