Introduction

this chili is spicy and sweet this chili is spicy and sweet
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    I onion chopped
    3 cloves of garlic
    1lb stew meat or pork chops
    1can Red Kidney Beans
    1 can White Northern Beans
    1can chili beans in sauce
    1 12oz can stewed tomatoes
    1 cup apricot jam or 1/2 c. apricot and 1/2c. barbecue sauce
    1/2 tsp cumin powder
    1/2 cayenne powder
    1/2 chilli powder
    1 whole yellow chilli pepper (more spice use habenero or jalapino)

Tips

note: the longer the peppers cook in chili the spicier the chili is. ( I take my yellow pepper out after 1&1/2 hours because I don't really like spicy food)


Directions

brown meat with onions and garlic with salt and pepper.
In Crock pot add beans stewed tomatoes and spices and pepper. Once meat is brown and onion is tender stir into crock pot. Cover and let cook three hours.


Serving Size: makes 8 to 12 1 cup servings
