Introduction
It's like one I found on the TJ's website, but I've tweaked it some. It's like one I found on the TJ's website, but I've tweaked it some.Number of Servings: 8
Ingredients
-
I got all the ingredients at Trader Joes:
1 bag fresh spinach
3 cartons free range, organic chicken broth
1 container mirepoix
1 bag TJ's chicken gyoza
~2 tbs wakame seaweed
2-3 tbs Bragg liquid amino acids
1/4-1/2 bag frozen broccoli
1 or 2 cups other veggies
3 or 4 tbs extra virgin olive oil
spices as desired
Directions
In a large pot, heat EVOO on medium-high. After a minute, toss in a small handful of sesame seeds. If they start popping, it's time to throw in the mirepoix so the onions can soften.
At the same time, in a frying pan, brown the potstickers in a little EVOO on medium-high.
Once the onions are as soft as you want them, add 2 cartons of chicken broth and other ingredients, save for the potstickers and spinach. Those go in last.
Once everything has got to a boil, if the potstickers are ready, toss them in.
Bring back to a boil and add the spinach. We just want it to wilt. Then, continue to add chicken broth to reach desired amount. Bring to a boil again if necessary, season as desired, and serve.
