Ingredients

    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1 onion, diced
    6 cloves garlic, minced
    1.3 pound ground turkey
    3 (15 ounce) cans black beans, drained and rinsed
    2 (4 ounce) cans diced green chilies
    1 (29oz) can ground peeled tomatoes in puree
    1 (15 oz) can pitted small black olives
    1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
    1 tablespoon dried oregano
    .5 teaspoon cinnamon
    .25 cup cider vinegar
    2-3 teaspoons chipotle in adobo sauce
    1 teaspoon salt

Directions

Fry the garlic and onion in the olive oil in a large nonstick skillet until translucent. Empty into crock pot. Brown turkey meat in same skillet and add all dry spices. Empty into crock pot and add remaining ingredients. Set crock pot to 5 hours on high or 7-8 on low.

Serving Size: Makes 8 cups of chili
