Ingredients

    Canola or Olive Oil, 1T
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Beef chuck, arm pot roast, 1 lb
    Beef Broth, 2 cup
    Mixed Vegetables, frozen, .5 package
    Cornstarch, .25c
    Refrigerated Flaky Biscuit Dough, 1 roll

Directions

Makes 8 Servings

1. Chop Onions and sautee them in 1T of oil.
2. Cut up and add Beef, cook until half way done.
3. Add Beef Broth to desired amount of juice.
4. Simmer until beef is cooked.
5. Add Mixed Vegetables.
6. Take 1 cup of hot water and add 2-3T of
Cornstarch, stir with a fork until smooth and looks like milk.
7. Add cornstarch to mixture slowly and stirring until desired thickness.
8. Take half of the biscuits and pull them apart in half. and lay the dough on the bottom of a baking pan.
9. Pour beef mixture into pan.
10. Split the rest of the biscuits in half and place them on top of the mixture.
Bake in a 400 degree oven until biscuit crust is golden brown.

    Great idea! I added a bit of BBQ sauce and some Worcestershire sauce to make it smell familiar. I also made it an actual 'pie', with a full 2 part crust in a pie plate. Family LOVED it! - 10/18/11
