Ingredients

1/2 lb of 93% lean ground turkey
1/2 lb of 85% (or greater) lean ground beef
1 Cup chopped onion (diced fine)
1 Cup chopped green pepper (diced fine)
    1 egg
1/3 Cup bread crumbs (can increase to 1/2 if needed- see Tips)
    Salt (to taste)
    Pepper (to taste)
    6 Reduced Calorie Hamburger Buns

Tips

The mixture can be a little "loose" when forming patties. Adjust the amount of bread crumbs if you like your patties either moister or drier.

Directions

Beat one egg (or use 1/4 C egg beaters), and mix into ground beef and ground turkey with, bread crumbs. Add chopped onion and green pepper and salt and pepper to taste. Divide and shape the mixture evenly into six patties and place grill (inside or out). Serve on a reduced calorie Hamburger roll and enjoy! You can add your own condiments, lettuce, tomatoe, etc. Add a slice of reduced fat cheese for a yummy cheeseburger! (This will effect the calorie count!)
