Ingredients

    1 lb lean ground turkey
    2 cans of tomatoes (10 oz each) with green chiles or red peppers drained.
    1 can 15 oz pinto beans undrained
    1 can (12 oz) light beer
    .5 cup red onion, chopped
    2 TBSP chili powder
    1 tsp salt
    1tsp ground cumin
    .5 tsp garlic powder


    sliced green onions

Tips

I also garnish with Chobani greek, plain, non fat yogurt and Fat free kraft cheddar cheese!! YUMMY!


Directions

brown turkey in a skillet and drain of fat
combine all ingredients in a slow cooker (minus green onion).
Cover and cook on Low heat setting 7 to 9 hours.
Before serving skim off an fat, sprinkle with green onions.
