Ingredients

    3 Cups - Quick Oats
    1/2 Cup - Dried Cherries (chopped)
    1/2 Cup - Blanched/Slivered Almonds (chopped)
    1/2 Cup - Mini Chocolate Chips
    1/3 Cup - Bran (raw/bulk)
    1/3 Cup - Wheat Germ (raw/bulk)
    2 Tbsp - Flax Meal (raw/bulk)
    1 can (14oz) - Fat Free Sweetened Condensed Milk

    Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.

    Grease a 9x13 pan and set aside. (can use a jelly-roll or quarter sheet pan also)

    Mix all dry ingredients (except sweet. milk) in a large bowl.

    Add sweetened condensed milk. Stir very well to ensure all dry mixture is coated evenly.

    Pour mixture into prepared greased pan. Press/flatten mixture down evenly in pan.

    Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degees F. The dges of the pan and granola should just start to turn brown.

    Let cool for 5 minutes and then cut into bars (or squares). Let cool completely before serving.



Tips

These granola bars can be customized very easily!!
Other variatations that have worked well are; coconut, pecans, dried cranberries, dried dates, anyother desired dried fruit and/or nuts.
