Introduction

Tastes like a Snickers, but made with ingredients that are good for you! Tastes like a Snickers, but made with ingredients that are good for you!
Number of Servings: 14

Ingredients

    2 cups whole pitted dates
    1 cup roasted almonds
    1/2 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or unsweetened, according to taste)
    1 T peanut butter (preferably natural)



Tips

bars will keep for 48 hours, max, outside of the fridge in a sealed container.


Directions

In a food processor, chop almonds until coarse and consistency of bread crumbs. Add chocolate chips,dates, & peanut butter. Mix until ingredients start to ball in the bowl. Line 8x8 pan with parchment paper. Spread mixture evenly in pan. Top with another piece of parchment and smooth. Refrigerate for two hours, minimum, before slicing. Keep refrigerated in a well-sealed container.

Serving Size: Makes approx 14 servings
