Introduction
I saw this recipe in a blog by NEETAC. I tweaked it and bumped up the greens. I always use between 3 to 4 cups of greens in my smoothies. The addition of the spices and the vanilla make this smoothie taste like a milkshake. I add Vitamineral Green which has a pretty strong "Green" taste and it is totally maked in this smoothie.
I have tried making this with different greens and different fruits. Pineapple, cinnamon, and cayenne is a great combo to try. I saw this recipe in a blog by NEETAC. I tweaked it and bumped up the greens. I always use between 3 to 4 cups of greens in my smoothies.

Number of Servings: 1
Ingredients
-
3 cups spinach
1 small banana
1 cup seedless black or red grapes
1 tsp. vanilla*
1 tsp cinnamon
.125 tsp cayenne pepper
2 cups of water
* I use 1/3 of a vanilla bean in mine opposed to processed vanilla
Tips
If you put your spices and any nutritional additives, like Vitamineral Green that I add to my smoothies, in towards the bottom of the blender, then when you turn the blender on those powders do not end up on the lid of the blender.
Directions
Blend all till desired consistency. I find that if I put the banana in 1st, then the greens, the spices, vanilla, and then the fruit followed by the water it works the best.
