Introduction

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 can red beans, rinsed and drained
    1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
    1 can white beans, rinsed and drained
    1/2 cup chopped onion (approx. 1/2 large onion)
    1 Tbsp Olive Oil
    1 Tbsp Vinegar
    Juice from 1 Lime
    1 Tbsp Sugar
    1 Tbsp Dried Cilantro
    1/2 Tbsp Garlic Powder

Tips

Add a little Cayenne pepper if you like spicy foods. I omit it because my kids don't like spicy food.


Directions

Mix oil, vinegar, lime juice, sugar, cilantro, and garlic powder until sugar is dissolved. You may need to use a whisk. Add rinsed and drained beans and chopped onions. Chill in the refrigerator. The dish tastes best if the beans marinate for 12-24 hours.

Serving Size: Makes 12 servings, approx. 1/2 cup each
