    Butter, salted, .5 tbsp
    *Canola Oil, 1 tbsp
    Celery, raw, 3 stalk, medium diced
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Green Peppers (bell peppers), 0.5 cup, chopped
    Garlic powder, 1 tbsp
    Soup, chicken broth, canned, less/reduced sodium, 1 cup
    *Del Monte Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes, 1 - 14.5 oz
    Thyme, ground, .5 tsp
    Pepper, red or cayenne, .25 tsp
    Salt, .25 tsp
    Paprika, .5 tsp
    Oregano, ground, .5 tsp
    *Shrimp - Raw, Large, Peeled, Deveined Kroger Brand, 16 oz
    Parsley, chopped, 3 tbsp
    OPTIONAL: Hot Sauce


Heat butter and oil in large pan over med high heat. Saute onion, celery, bell pepper and garlic until veggies are softened. Stir in flour and cook for about one minute. Slowly add broth, stirring while adding. Continue stirring until mixture has thickened. Add remaining ingredients EXCEPT shrimp and parsley-, reduce heat to med-low, cover and simmer for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in shrimp and parsley and cook until shrimp is done (about 4 minutes or so).

Typically this is served over rice (not included in calorie counts); for low carbers, I treat as a stew.
