Introduction

Ingredients

    1 24 ounce jar Mom’s Spicy Arrabiata Pasta Sauce (with 1/2 cup reserved for marinade)
    1/2 cup olive oil
    1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
    1 Tbs lemon juice
    1 Tbs crushed red pepper flakes
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined with tails attached
    skewers
    1 pound linguine

Directions

Mix together 1/2 cup of the pasta sauce, olive oil, parsley, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, and garlic. Reserve a small amount for basting later. Pour remaining marinade into a large resealable plastic bag with shrimp. Seal and marinate in the refrigerator for a couple hours.
Preheat grill to medium heat. Thread shrimp onto skewers. Throw away marinade in bag.
Lightly oil grill grate. Cook shrimp for 5 minutes per side until opaque. Baste often with reserved marinade.
Prepare linguine according to package directions. Heat remaining pasta sauce and pour over linguine. Serve with the skewered shrimp.
