    8 Large potatoes
    5 medium onions
    8 oz heavy cream
    8 oz sharp cheddar cheese
    1 TBS salt
    1 TBS pepper


Use a Mandoline on the lowest setting (or Simple Slicer (Pampered Chef)) to cut the potatoes and onions as thins as possible.


Layer potatoes, onion, cheddar cheese, splash with heavy cream, then salt and pepper. Keep layering this way until all potatoes are used. If you start to run low on cheese, hold a 1/4 until the end to put on top.

Serving Size: Makes about 20 servings
