Ingredients

1/2 small Apple, chopped
3 T. Steel Cut Oats
3 T. Liquid Egg Whites
1 cup water
1 t. Vanilla
1 t. Caramel flavoring
Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Allspice - To Taste
Tips
I let mine sit in the microwave (Don't open it!) for 5 minutes when it was done cooking. I like the texture better. I topped it with 1/4 cup soy milk, a spritz of butter spray and a tsp of sugar free maple syrup.
Directions
Combine ingredients. Cook in microwave for 15 minutes, or until the liquid is absorbed.

This was AWESOME! I tried this on the stove top because of problems I have with my microwave, and the oatmeal was delicious! I added a few raisins to it at the end. Chopped walnuts would be excellent in it, too. - 4/14/12
