Ingredients

    1.25 lb lean ground turkey breast
    1.5 cups canned black beans
    .5 cup green bell pepper, diced
    .5 cup red bell pepper, diced
    1 egg
    1 egg white
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1.25 tsp. garlic powder
    1.25 tsp onion powder
    1.25 tsp. paprika
    1 tsp. salt, if desired (nutritional info includes salt)
    .5 tsp. black pepper

Tips

Great rolled in a whole-wheat tortilla, on top of a salad, or just by itself.


Directions

Mix all seasonings into turkey breast well. Add egg, egg white & applesauce, and mix well. Refrigerate 15 minutes (you can leave it overnight). Spray the pan, add turkey mix, brown it and crumble with spoon/spatula. Add diced bell peppers and saute for another 5minutes, continuously breaking the turkey up into smaller crumbles. Drain/rinse beans, and add to pan. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
