Tips
Taste this gingerly. Ghost chiles are the hottest chiles on the Schoville scale. They are approximately 4 to 5 times hotter than a jalapeno pepper!
Directions
Cook the onion & bell pepper with the cumin in the olive oil until the onion is transparent & reserve. Then cook the ground beef breaking it up into small pieces. Add the onion & pepper. Also add approximately one cup to a pint of water as needed to obtain the thickness desired.
Take the ghost chile and place in a coffee grinder or other grinding device. Cover tightly with saran wrap. Then grind. Be sure to keep it well away from your face and wash your hands after. Clean the grinder thoroughly.
Add the ghost chile and chili powder to the beef mixture and saute for several minutes. Transfer the mixture to the pot and add the tomatoes and beans. Bring to a boil and then simmer for several hours.
