Introduction

I'm still tweaking this...but with 11 g of fiber and 14 g of protein I think it's worth trying. The beans make it very filling and a lovely brown chocolate-y color. No need to hide the color of this smoothie :D I'm still tweaking this...but with 11 g of fiber and 14 g of protein I think it's worth trying. Ingredients

1 cup black beans (that's 1/2 can, rinse to reduce sodium)
    3 tsp unsweetened coco powder
    1 cup skim milk
2 dried prunes. Omit if you don't like/need.
1/4 cup frozen spinach (or handful of fresh greens)
Your favorite sweetener to taste. For the recipe I added 1 Tablespoon Agave Nectar and 2 packets of Splenda. Use what/how much you like.

6 ice cubes, added one at a time.

Tips

I'd like to hear your variations and improvements.

Directions

Rinse beans. Put all in blender and whirrrr. Add ice cubes to make it frosty.
