Introduction

A mayo free version of cole slaw. A mayo free version of cole slaw.
Number of Servings: 14

Ingredients

    1 1/2 lb Cabbage
    1 Green Bell Pepper
    1 Red Bell Pepper
    Small Onion
    1/2 C Tarragon Vinegar (Any type of Vinegar would work)
    1/2 C Sugar
    1/2 C Water
    1/2 tsp Mustard Seed
    1/4 tsp Celery Seed
    Dash Salt

Tips

It is best if you make it the day before, so the vegetables can absorb the liquid. It is great with any fish dish or hamburgers/hot dogs.


Directions

Chop first 4 ingredients (Cabbage, Green pepper, Red Pepper and Onion) Set aside. Bring remaining ingredients (Vinegar, sugar, water, mustard seed, celery seed and dash of salt) to a boil. Then pour over cabbage mixture.
