Ingredients

*Chana Dal, 0.5 cup
*moong dal, 0.5 cup
Zucchini, 1 cup, sliced
*Mirliton (chayote) (1 cup=1 mirliton), 1 cup
*Ghee, 1 tsp
Coconut, raw, 0.5 cup, shredded
*Indian Green Chillies, 25 gram(s)
*Cumin seed, 1 tsp
*Asafoetida / Hing, 0.5 tsp
Turmeric, ground, 0.25 tsp
Tips
You can use carrots, pease, cauliflower, cabbage or potatoes instead
Directions
Grind coconut, cumin, hing, green chillis (as spicy as you like) to a fine paste.
Dice mirliton & zucchini. Add water and cook for 5 min. Boil (& cook) chana & moong dal. Add the partially cooked veggies to it. Add salt to taste & the ground masala and bring to boil.
Season with - heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan, add 1 stp mustard seeds and splutter and add to the kuttu. Serve with rice or bread.
