Number of Servings: 13

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (93% lean)
    1 cup grated zucchini
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
1/2 large red bell pepper, diced
    3 cloves of garlic, minced
    1 large egg
    1/8 cup breadcrumbs
    garlic powder
    onion powder
    salt and pepper

Directions

Grate the zucchini and dice the bell pepper. Put the zucchini in a thin cloth and ring it out, trying to get rid of as much excess moisture as possible.

Heat the olive oil in a pan, adding the chopped bell pepper and garlic. Saute until slightly tender.

Add the beef to a large bowl, and mix in the bell pepper and zucchini. Add the egg and breadcrumbs and mix well. Finally, season with whatever you want! I used garlic and onion powder.

Form the mixture into patties.

Grill and enjoy!
