Introduction

Thanks Rachel Mac... I really liked your idea of throw in whatever anyone wants and I was pretty pleased with my first rendition & wanted to share it. Hope u don't mind. I'm trying to figure out a savory/spicy take on it to but I haven't figured out how to make something savory without using salt yet.

Thanks again to Rachel Mac's recipe and here is her link:

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    (all ingredients were organic)
3/4 cup of Red Mill's Rolled Oats
    1/3 cup of skim milk
    1 whole egg
    2 egg whites
    1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
    1 medium-lg banana
    handful of fresh blueberries
    handful of fresh rasberries
    1 juiced fresh orange

Tips

I used a freshly juiced orange to sweeten it up instead of using syrup.

Directions

Throw in all of the ingredients together and scramble them up in a mixing bowl and ladel them into a skillet to make about (6) 3-4" pancakes. IMO, no syrup or salt was needed. It's my favorite new breakfast or quick snack and I'm sure kids will love it too.

Serving Size: (6) 3-4" pancakes

For a salty flavor, blend the egg with chopped celery, tomato, nutritional yeast and a teaspoon of colavita basalmic vinegar. Use a high speed blender like a nutribullet. I love this with old fashioned oats. - 8/18/13

    Incredible!
These were so yummy. I made extra and put them in the fridge for later in the week. I love that these don't have any flour of any kind so they are gluten free and light. I used Pam cooking spray to cook them and they kind of stuck to the pan and burnt a little. Maybe I need new skillets? Love it - 10/14/12
