Ingredients
-
1 lb. hamburger meat, extra lean
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 cooking onion, minced or diced
2-3 TBSP olive oil
1-2 cups of water
salt and pepper to taste
1 TBSP Bisto gravy (I use the boxed powder)
Tips
When browning and sauting the meat, onions and garlic always do this on med-hi heat and watch carefully as not to burn it.
When the water reaches a boil turn heat down to simmer and the flavor will be brought out slowly.
Directions
place oil in sauce/frying pan.
Add onion, garlic and meat ... brown
Add salt and pepper to taste as well as some of the water.
Let boil down to about 1/4 cup of moisture in pan with meat and ingredients
Add bisto and water. add enough water to cover meat and let boil.
Stir occasionally so that it doesn't burn to bottom of pan
Serving Size: makes 4 1-cup servings
Number of Servings: 4
