Ingredients
-
2 lbs Ground Chicken
2 Medium Jalapanos
1 Small/Med Yellow Onion (will use 3Tbs)
2 tbs Cilantro
1 Package Taco Seasoning
2 tbs Onion Powder
2 tbs Garlic Powder
Tips
My preferance is to place this burger on a low carb bun with fresh guacamole and pico de digo. Low calorie sourcream and cheese are also a good addition.
Directions
Remove seeds and ribbing from jalapanos then dice jalapanos, dice onion, chop cilantro.
Place all chopped items in large bowl, add chicken, top with onion powder, garlic powder, and taco seasoning. Mix items thuroughly. Seperate into 8 equal pieces then form burgers. Place formed burgers into warmed pan and cook on med/high heat for approx 5 mins per side or throw on the grill until chicken is completely cooked (juice runs clear/ no longer pink/ reached appropriate internal temp).
*If you would like spicier burgers add in or leave some of the jalapano seeds and or ribbing. You could also use spicier taco seasonings.
Serving Size: Makes 8 quarter pound burgers
Number of Servings: 8
