Introduction
This recipe will makes enough rice that I freeze it in mason jars for later use.No reason for fast food when I can add this to steamed salmon

Ingredients

2 C. Brown Basmati Rice (uncooked)
1/4 C. Wild Rice (uncooked)
3 Tbsp. Coconut Oil
1/4 C. Pine nuts
1 C. Onion (chopped)
1 C. Celery (chopped)
1 C. Bell Pepper (chopped)
2 C. Mushrooms (chopped)
1/4 C. Garlic, Fresh (chopped)
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Oregano, dried
2 C. Organic Chicken broth
3 C. Water
Tips
Can be frozen for later use in many dishes.
Directions
In a 4 quart or larger sauce pan, melt coconut oil over medium heat. Add to oil; Pine nuts, Onion, Celery, Bell Pepper, Mushrooms, and Garlic. Saute for about 2 minutes until onions and peppers start to soften. Add the Brown Basmati rice and Wild rice, Salt and Oregano and saute another few minutes. Pour in chicken broth and water and increase heat to bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat to low and simmer for 50-55 minutes, until all liquid is absorbed.
Serve immediately or cool to use later.
