Ingredients

    1 c. water
    2 egg yolks
    1/2 t. Dixie Carb Counters Thick-It-Up
1/4 c. fresh squeezed lemon juice
    1t. dill weed, opt.

Tips

You can keep this on hand in the fridge, and toss some on your veggies to make the flavor pop.
Thick-It-Up has Zero Net Carbs, which makes it a great sub for either flour or corn starch in sauces or gravies.

Directions

1. Whisk water and egg yolks in a small sauce pan until smooth.
2. *Important: Add the thickener in this manner: Place the 1/2 t. of Thick-It-Up into a small sieve. Shake the sieve over the liquid in sauce pan to spread the fine powder evenly. Then whisk it in. Continue to cook over medium heat, whisking frequently, until sauce comes to a boil & thickens.
3. Remove from heat & stir in lemon juice. (Can also add 1t. dill weed.)
