Introduction
Good basic wine and pasta sauce with beef. Add roasted veges and you have a full meal! You also can use this as base for MANY other Italian-style dishes. Easy to do in slow cooker... or top of stove. Ingredients

Total Recipe:
20 oz top sirloin stew beef
1 bottle (24 oz) pasta sauce
(I used Classico Spicy Tomato & Pesto)
1 C red wine
5 cloves Garlic (chopped)
.5 C flour (for dredging beef)
1.5 TBSP olive oil (for browning beef)
Each serving will be:
Beef, top sirloin, 4 oz
Pasta Sauce .5 cup
Red Wine, 1.5 fl oz
Garlic, 1 clove
Flour, whole grain, .1 cup
Olive Oil, 1 1tsp
Tips
Cook desired veges in oven and add to meat just before serving. Carrots, tomatoes, zucchini, onions are all good choices.... you can also add potatoes if not using pasta or rice.
Serve over pasta or rice if desired.
Directions
Dredge raw beef in flour and brown in olive oil.
Place in crock pot
(you may refrigerate at the point and assemble later)
Pour bottle of sauce over meat
Add chopped garlic
Put wine into sauce bottle to 'clean' bottle and pour over meat and sauce; stir.
Cook on high 4-6 hours (240+ mins) or low 8-12 hours (480+ mins)
Serving Size: Total recipe makes 5 large servings or 10 small ones (choose .5 portion)
