Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. yeast
    1 c. ice water

    3 tbsp. olive oil (for drizzling)




Tips

You can use this same dough to make bread sticks or Stromboli & Calzone too. When spreading dough on pizza pan to make pizza - leave room at the edges to make "stuffed" crust but placing cheese and folding the edges over the cheese and sealing with some egg wash.

When making your dough, you can place in some additions ... like black pepper or a couple of tablespoons of grated Romano or Parmesan cheese.


Directions

Mix all together, place in a Tupperware bowl and cover with lid, leaving some rising/air space. Place into the refrigerator overnight (or up to a 10 days).

To prepare:

Remove dough from refrigerator. Flour working surface and stretch the dough into elongated rectangle and envelope (folding edges over onto itself), repeat. Then pick up enveloped dough and form into a ball by pulling under seams. Spray a bowl with PAM, drizzle a little olive oil all around and place dough ball inside bowl. Drizzle a little olive oil over the top of the dough. Cover with plastic and let rise 2 hours.

Spray pizza pan with PAM and drizzle down some more olive oil. Gently dump the dough-ball onto the prepared pizza pan. Gently with your hands (oil your hands), in a scissor motion, spread and stretch dough to desired size. You can leave enough of an edge to make a stuffed crust if desired.

Bake in the oven just enough where dough will slide easily on the pan. Take out of oven and add toppings.
Now back to the oven - Gently slide the partially cooked pizza dough with toppings onto rack in oven. Bake until cheese and toppings are done.

Bake in a 400 degree oven. Cooking time will vary depending on toppings, etc ...
