Introduction
Great base meal served over brown rice. Next day add some salsa, cumin, avocado and have amazing fajitas. Or add cream of mushroom, or Roux, and make stew/pot roast. This is a very large meal intended to be used for two different dinners. Low value is for two smaller meals, high value could be 3 big meals. Great base meal served over brown rice. Ingredients

1 tsp Canola oil
1.5-3 lbs Tri Tip or other roast sliced
Garlic powder, salt and pepper
2-3 Yellow onions
2-4 Red Bell peppers or a mix of colors
1/4-1/2 cup hot water
1-2 beef bouillon cube or 1 tsp beef base
1-2 tsp cornstarch
3-6 tbsp soy sauce
1-2 tsp sugar
1-2 cans tomatoes, ready cut or stewed
Directions
- Slice beef into strips, sprinkle with salt and pepper and alot of garlic powder. Brown in oil, and put into slow cooker.
- While beef is browning, mix water, bouillon, cornstarch. Then add soy sauce and sugar.
- Slice onion into larger slices, and caramelize them the residual oil left in the pan, or just put them in raw.
- Put large slices of bell pepper in slow cooker
- pour soy sauce mixture over all,
- add tomatoes undrained or partially drained
- mix around a little
- high 2-5 hours, low 8-10
