    Shortening, 1.5 cup(remove)
    Granulated Sugar, 2 cup(remove)
    *Molasses, blackstrap, .5 cup(remove)
    Egg, fresh, 2 large(remove)
    *Flour, white, 4.5 cup(remove)
    Baking Soda, 3 tsp(remove)
    Allspice, 1 tsp(remove)
    Nutmeg, ground, 1 tsp(remove)
    ground ginger 1 TBS

    *Confectioner's Sugar, 1.5 cup(remove)
    Milk, 3.25%, 1 tbsp(remove)
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp(remove)


Cream shortening, sugar and molasses. Add egg and spices. Mix and then add flour. Mix til incorporated. Scoop out onto greased sheets and flatten slightly with palm of hand. Bake at 350 for about 8 minutes.

Mix icing sugar, vanilla and milk together so it will drizzle. Using a fork, drizzle it on warm cookies and let set til firm. Place wax papger between layers of cookies. These freeze and keep really well.
