Introduction

Ingredients

    15 oz. canned pumpkin
    3/4 c. white sugar
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. applesauce, unsweetened
    1 tbsp. canola oil
    1/2 tsp each: cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and nutmeg
    1/2 tsp each: baking soda and salt
    1 apple, peeled and diced
    1 c. white flour
    1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour

Tips

Check the bread at 60 minutes, but likely will need 75 to bake all the way through.


Directions

Blend pumpkin and sugars together. Mix in applesauce and oil. Add spices, soda, and salt. Stir in apples. In separate bowl, mix flours together. Add flour to wet mixture. Mix carefully. Pour into greased loaf pan.
