Ingredients

    2 portobello caps
    1 clove garlic, roasted
    pinch or up to 1/4 tsp each, dried savory and oregano
    pinch salt and pepper
    2 tsp olive oil
    2 tsp balsalmic vineagar

Tips

This is an easy recipe to adapt to your own tastes. Rosemary is good with this too. A little sprinkle of parmesean on top would add even more umami flavor.


Directions

Clean portobello caps, and cut off steams.
Rub garlic clove with a little olive oil, wrap in foil and toast in toaster oven for five minutes while you are prepping other ingredients.
Combine oil and vineagar, herbs, salt and pepper and mix.
Remove toasted garlic from foil, mince and add it to the sauce.
Turn caps gill side up, drizzle sauce into gills and place them in the toaster oven.
Roast at 400 degrees F for 15 minutes.
