Introduction

Ingredients

    1 Kabocha Squash (aka Sweet Mama), cooked, skinned, seeds removed
    1 onion, chopped
    1 15 oz can Kidney Beans
    1 15 oz can stewed tomatoes
    1 cup frozen corn
    1 pt vegetable broth/stock
    2 cinnamon sticks
    1/4 t pepper flakes
    1/4 t black pepper
    4 whole cloves
    6 allspice berries

Tips

We like to cook this in a crockpot on low over night to enhance the flavor.


Directions

Prepare the squash.
Place squash and all other ingredients in a large pot. Add water to get thickness you like.
Simmer for at least 30 minutes.
