Ingredients

    6 T. butter
    2/3 cup brown sugar
    1/3 cup whole wheat flour
    1/3 cup white flour
    1 1/2 cups regular old fashioned oats
    1/3 cup egg beaters
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    3 oz. dark chocolate chunks or chips
    1 cup dried cherries


Directions

In large bowl melt butter in microwave; add sugar and mix until well blended. Add all other ingredients except chocolate and cherries and mix ith spoon until well moistened--mixture will be slightly dry. Stir in chocolate and cherries. Drop by tablespoons onto greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart and bake for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees F. Makes 30-32 cookies.
