Introduction

This recipe is calculated with frozen green beans, as the fresh ones where I live have gotten so expensive, but can easily be made with fresh. If using fresh, just prepare and trim as usual. Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    3 cups frozen or fresh green beans
    1 Tbsp margarine
    1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
    1/2 cup reduced sodium chicken broth

Directions

Melt butter in pan over medium heat. Add green beans and saute for 3 minutes. Add chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce and simmer 10 minutes (may need longer for fresh beans). Drain any remaining liquid. Add lemon pepper, stir and serve.

Serving Size: makes 4 3/4 cup servings
