Introduction

Ingredients

    Tofu, firm, 1 package, cubed
    Cabbage, chinese (pak-choi), raw, 500 grams
    *Hoisin Sauce, 3 tbsp
    Garlic, 3 fat cloves
    Ginger Root, 30 grams
    Brown Sugar, 2 tsp packed
    *Soy Sauce, 4 tbsp
    *Seeds, sesame seeds, whole, roasted and toasted, 1 oz

Tips

This makes either 2 generous servings, or 3-4 'diet 'servings. I packed it into 3 packages of lunches.
Can be served with rice, or not.


Directions

- Marinate cubed tofu in hoisin sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger, and 2 tbsp soy sauce for 15-30 min.
- Preheat wok or frying pan, once hot add 1 tbsp oil and sear bok choi on med-high heat.
-Add a tiny splash of water and 2 tbsp soy sauce, put the lid on and steam 2 min.
- Once water is evaporated, push bok choi to the outer sides of the pan and add tofu with marinade. Simmer 1 minute, and toss everything together for 1-3 min.
