Introduction

I cook onion and garlic in chicken broth, and blend it to make a "creamy" base. I cook onion and garlic in chicken broth, and blend it to make a "creamy" base.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

Chicken broth, chopped onions, garlic cloves

Directions

I use "better than boullion" chicken soup base. I put two-three Tablespoons in 1/2 cup of water to dissolve it. Chop 4 onions in largeish pieces (you're going to blend it, no reason to do a fine dice), add to the dissolved soup base. Add 1/2 C. of garlic cloves. Cook for 10-15 minutes. Then add 6-8 C. of water. Cook until vegetables are soft. Blend with a stick blender.

Serving Size: Makes 8-10 cups of thinner "cream" base
