Introduction

Being from Nebraska beef is the meat you eat! We love our burgers. Me and Cowboy (DH) love heat so here is the best of both worlds.
Can make less fattening by useing leaner meat. This is what we have get from the butcher when my parents process meat so that is what we use.

Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    4oz ground beef 80/20
onion sliced as thick as you like
Jalapeno Peppers (have used both fresh and jarred)
    Cheddar cheese, shredded melts better
Itilian Bread 2 slices per burger.....I used the less fat rotell bread.

Tips

Jalapenos are optional and you can switch out the cheese to american.
I always make extra burgers and cook them a little less done so that during reheating they do not dry out.

Great to make burger ahead, cook and freeze for those night when you want food fast without fast food. Take out of freezer reheat in Mcrowave then add to a screaming hot skillet to crisp up the burger and to add toppings.

Directions

Weigh out burger shape into patty, season as wanted, and cook.
Cook onion right along with burger.
Flip burger add jalapenos on top add cheese and continue to cook.
Put Bread in toaster just until heated through but not crunchy.
Put Burger together and ENJOY!!

Repeat process for the amount of burgers you are needing.

Serving Size: 1 4 oz burger
