Ingredients

    1 cup white flour
    7/8 cup whole wheat flour
    3/4 cup granulated sugar
    1 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/4 cup butter, unsalted
    1/4 cup natural applesauce
    1 cup or 2 medium ripe bananas
    2 eggs

Tips

At around 65 minutes stick a tooth pick in to see if it comes out almost clean. If it comes out completely clean you may have overcooked it. The key is to take it out about 5 minutes early so it stays moist.


Directions

Mix all ingredients together. Spray a 9x5 in loaf pan with Pam. Pour ingredients and cook at 300 degrees for 65-70 minutes (electric oven) or longer for gas ovens.
