Ingredients

    2 T Olive oil
    1/2 C chopped onion
    1 Clove minced garlic
    1/2 C bacon bits
    3 C shredded cabbage
    1 C chicken broth

Tips

Substitute shredded Brussels Sprouts for Cabbage when they're in season. Eliminate bacon bits & substitute vegetable broth to make this a vegetarian, vegan dish.


Directions

Saute onion, garlice in olive oil. Add bacon bits when onions are softening. Add cabbage and chicken broth, and steam until cabbage is soft and broth has boiled off.
