Ingredients

    1 cup brown rice
    1 cup lentils
    1 cup kale, chopped
    1 cup carrots, chopped
    1/2 cup broccoli stems, chopped
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tbsp cumin, ground
    1/4 tsp black pepper
    1/2 tsp salt
    6 cups water

Tips

This is a great way to use vegetables that are starting to get old (or parts of veggies one doesn't normally use e.g. broccoli stems). I'm not really sure exactly what it is, but it tastes good!


Directions

In a crockpot, combine all ingredients. Cook on low for 4-6 hours and enjoy!
