Number of Servings: 10

    3 +/- lb corned beef
3 carrots (in 2 inch pieces)
    4 potatoes (in chunks)
    1/2 head cabbage (2 quarters)
1 onion (quartered, but leave the bottom connected if desired to hold it together)
    2 Cups cubed Turnip
    water to cover

I would put twice the carrots & onion in, but I ran out of space in the crockpot! I found frozen, pre-cubed turnip in the freezer at my grocery store. Just tossed it in for the last hour.

place brisket and juices from package in crockpot.
add water to cover
run on high until steaming, then low for 2-3 hours
lift out meat (skim off spoodge if there is any)
put cut veg into crockpot. add meat back on top
cook another 1-2 hours on low or high depending on your time allowance (longer on low temp, shorter on high)

Serving Size: makes 10 4.8 oz servings (of meat)
