Ingredients

    2 medium apples
    1/3 cup brown sugar
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp salt
2 cups Old Fashioned Oatmeal NOT instant or the one that cooks in 5 minutes
    4 cups water

Tips

Make sure you use the Oatmeal that cooks in about 20 to 25 minutes. If you use the faster cooking oatmeal, it will just be a blob. It will be a good tasting blob, but just a blob

Directions

Spray the inside of your Slow Cooker with Pam. Chop the apples into cubes. Mix the brown sugar, cinnamon and salt and sprinkle over the apples. Put the oatmeal on top of the apples, and pour the water over the top.

DO NOT MIX

Cook in the slow cooker for 8 to 9 hours on low.
